Life Unbound Ministries provides supportive environments and spiritual care for individuals and families affected by chronic health issues to restore mind, body, and soul through adopting new rhythms, nurturing relationships, and developing sustainable life goals. Our core values are honest communication, authentic presence, and living out of the fullness of grace to reach our highest potential.
Positive, sustainable change can only take place when it is motivated by one's own desires and in alignment with deep, personal values. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We respect the unique nuances of each person's experience. Our goal is to come alongside people to help them achieve their own goals for living their life unbound.
We deliver our services through retreats, workshops, and community education. By giving our members a voice to share their stories, struggles, and victories, we are busting myths and changing the face of chronic illness.
Our retreats focus on spiritual care and wellness practices and are not intended to be used as a substitute for medical or mental health services. We do not provide health or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Life Unbound was created to serve those with chronic illness, as well as their families, caregivers, and supports.
We define chronic illness as any health condition (whether diagnosed or not) that lasts a year or longer, requires ongoing medical care or symptom management and affects one or more areas of life. Chronic illness affects more than 30% of the population, so chances are that it affects you or someone you know. Chronic illness can be devastating, creating pain, fatigue, isolation, and financial burden.
Many people live their lives waiting for physical healing. When healing does not come as quickly as we want it to, it can deplete our hope, create doubt and uncertainty and leave us disoriented and in despair. However, it does not need to rob us of the fullness of life we have been called to.
We believe that we are all called into a purposeful life filled with joy and beauty, despite our present circumstances.
Our programs are designed to be inclusive to all.
At Life Unbound, we do talk about our reason for hope being firmly rooted in Jesus. However, we only use what is helpful for building others up, as we are instructed to do. Jesus came to serve, not to be served. He showed boundless love and grace for the sick and suffering, no matter their religious beliefs. He did not come into the world to judge it, but to set it free from the powers that oppress it. We welcome everyone regardless of age, race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. We believe you were created to be loved and valued!
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. - Ephesians 4:29
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. - John 10:10
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. -Matthew 28:28-30
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. - 2 Corinthians 4:16

We do not limit anyone from talking about their beliefs or discourage anyone from practicing their spirituality. We do promote tolerance for all belief systems.
